Option 1
Use Recently Followed (Followers Tab)
Enter any public X @username, sign in with a free Recently Followed account, and switch to the Followers tab to inspect up to 100 available follower accounts.
No X login required • Up to 100 accounts
Want to see who follows a public X account or run a recent follower check? You can inspect up to 100 available followers per lookup with a free Recently Followed account — without logging into X or notifying the profile owner. To verify newly added followers over time, save and compare two snapshots.
Quick Answer
Followers vs. FollowingFollowers are the accounts that follow a target X profile, while Following are the accounts that profile follows. A single lookup returns up to 100 available follower entries and does not establish exact follow dates.
Three workflows
Option 1
Enter any public X @username, sign in with a free Recently Followed account, and switch to the Followers tab to inspect up to 100 available follower accounts.
No X login required • Up to 100 accounts
Option 2
Use TwexAPI’s Follower Exporter with a separate TwexAPI account and credit allowance to save two CSV lists, then compare usernames side by side.
Ideal for manual snapshot comparison
Option 3
Use TwexAPI’s separate Twitter Location Finder to look up public account regions. A TwexAPI account and credit allowance are required.
Batch country & ISO lookup
Step-by-step
Every search checks public X (Twitter) data only. A free Recently Followed account is required to manage daily search allowances — you never connect your personal X account.
For separate country research, use TwexAPI Twitter Location Finder to inspect public account regions. This uses a separate TwexAPI account and credit allowance.
Open the Recently Followed tracker on the homepage.
Enter the @username of the public X (Twitter) profile you want to inspect.
Sign in with a free Recently Followed account (no X login or password is required).
Select the Followers tab to review up to 100 available followers returned for that profile. Keep your own records to compare against a later check.
You can review up to 100 available follower accounts returned for a public X username, including display names, @handles, profile descriptions, and category tags, and export snapshots to compare changes between two check times.
Follower order & no-X-login viewing
Many users ask are Twitter followers in chronological order when looking for a profile’s most recent follower or last follower. A single X follower lookup returns available connections at the time of your check, but X does not attach public follow timestamps to each row. List position alone does not prove the exact date someone followed the account.
Because X restricts logged-out browsing of follower lists, you can sign in with a free Recently Followed account (no X login required) to inspect up to 100 available followers in the recent follower checker or export available lists separately using TwexAPI Follower Exporter, which uses a separate TwexAPI account and credit allowance.
To verify whether a profile gained new followers between two dates, export an earlier CSV snapshot and compare it against a later CSV snapshot. Any username that appears only in the later record is newly observed in your saved data, subject to the 100-account per-list limit.
